Confessions of a Digbyholic: NYC 12/1/2009

We’re going to try something new here! Instead of having us summarize the shows on this tour for you guys we’ve asked YOU guys, our fellow Digbyholics, to submit your own experiences. After all, we are all Digbyholics and it is much more exciting hearing from someone who was actually there to experience it LIVE! With that, I would like to introduce you guys to Camila, who has graciously offered to be the first to tell her story.
I couldn’t have had a better night! Even though the show was short, Marié enchanted me with her charisma, voice and talent. She was interacting with the public the whole show, making it cozy and personal:))))! After the show, she couldn’t be nicer. She talked, took pictures and gave autographs to EVERYBODY!
Something totally unexpected that happened:
I was telling her, “Marie, I’m from Brazil and I have never imagined I could meet my favorite singer! I’m so happy to see you in front of me! I can’t even believe!”. While I was saying this, she suddenly stood up from her chair and said “Come here, give me a hug!” (EXTREMELY SWEET!) Just to make it better..she took thousand of pictures in funny positions with me! LOL!
Another thing that happened was that I asked her, “How can you be so nice and sweet with everybody?”. With a smile in her face she answered, “My fans are like family to me.”

Camila and about 20 other Digbyholics even got a special treat after the show. Marie did her first live performance of “Bring Me Love” backstage after she got to meet everyone already and they were just hanging out.

Vince is the webmaster of Digbyholics and Misty's biggest fan! He joined the group back in 2008 and wanted to help Ayes and Jeff move the Marie Digby Fans site from Multiply to its very own domain so it could grow to be more international. He coined the term "Digbyholics" and the rest is history! :)
