Hey hey hey Digbyholics!
So it’s time for another one of my MDD stories…
Like my other story, once again this one happened at my university. I’m sitting in a library reading my Genetics textbook with my notes spread all over a table meant for 4 people (trying to looking as cool as ever, which might I add was a fail). One second though, I’ll give you a little flash back here.
There’s this guy that I’ve been crushing on for almost a year. Of course he has no idea and I don’t think I’ll be telling him anytime soon : P Well we’ve been talking for quite a while, but when the next semester started we started to see each other more often and hang out more. I would get to school about 2 hours early to study, little something called being productive. 
So one day he found out where I usually end up studying and he began showing up more and more often in the morning until it became an everyday ritual to come and sit with me while I did my studying before I went to my first class.
Okay well back to my story. While I was reading, I was listening to Marie on my Ipod and because I was so into my reading, I didn’t realize that he was sitting beside me already. I felt something/one tugging on my earphone and I turn around and smiled…
Him: You seem busy? Haha.
Nicole: Yeaaa, Genetics…you know how it is. Haha. How about you? How was your class?
Him: It was alright. Prof actually got stuff done today. So are you listening to?
Nicole: Marie Digby… wanna hear?
Him: Sure! (I give him my earphones and he flips through her songs as I continue reading)
Nicole: How is it? (He nods his head with a smile on his face) Yea? Listen to this… I love this song (I change it)
Him: Whats the title of this song?
Nicole: Avalanche…
Him: I see. So are we still going to (insert our friend’s name here)’s place later? I’ll drive then I could most likely drive you home after that.
Nicole: K.. whatever works.
So we go to our friend’s house after school and have a great time… The next day the same routine happened, except when I got up to go to class…
Him: (gets up) Nicole! Wait! Have something to tell you!
(Here I am having a total adrenaline rush and an ‘oh my gosh, oh my gosh what’s he gonna tell/ask me?!’ moment because you all obviously have an idea of what I wanted him to ask me 
)
Nicole: Yea? What’s that? (trying so hard to keep my cool)
Him: I downloaded Marie Digby’s Unfold and Breathing Underwater Albums last night!! Awesome stuff she’s got! Thanks for telling me about her!
(Way to kill an adrenaline rush, dude.)
Nicole: Ha… no problem….she’s great right? 
Him: Awesome
Nicole: (‘pffft…’)
Lesson learned from this story, it’s easy to spread the love, but easier to spread MDD. Whether if we’re young or old, or whether we’re ‘crushable’ classmates or not
