Marié’s 5th Anniversary For Posting YouTube Videos!
By Liem. Posted in News, Videos | 1 Comment »We all know time flies fast as we get older, but today is a important day to remember for our idol, our favorite artist’s career. Today marks Marié’s 5th year since she posted her first video on YouTube. Who knows how things would have turned out if she never uploaded covers on YouTube. We may not even know who Marié Digby was, but luckily that wasn’t the case. Many of us fell for her voice, her beauty, her creative cover arrangements, her music, or just because she captivated our hearts by trying stay in touch with all her fans and supporters!
Earlier this month, Marié also posted her latest cover of “I Won’t Give Up” by Jason Mraz on May 2nd which was ironic because it was just a day before her 6th year since she created an account on YouTube. It only took her a year to decide what she wanted her first cover to be and have it posted for the world to see; to showcase what she’s all about; and to prove her labels why they need to release her album.
Let’s celebrate by not watching the “Umbrella” cover video that made her the YouTube sensation, but to see the very first video she uploaded into YouTube. Here’s her cover of “Like A Star” by Corrine Bailey Rae.
So much has changed in five years, and yet so much has stayed the same! Our love and support for Marié continues to grow strong, her simple cover video uploads have not changed, but she has grown so much. She’s not just a YouTuber that records video covers in her living room anymore, but she’s now a international star with fans all over the world. This Digbyholics family is ever growing and will continue to grow as long as we want it to!
Fast forwarding to the present and the future, she continues to need our support. She is now an independent artist again and her destiny is in her own hands, and we just need to help push that destiny into the next chapter!
Be sure to show how much you support her and how much you love her by going on Facebook and Twitter and tell her how much she and her music means to you, to us, and to the world!
