Can you tell us about this new album you’re doing?

This is going to be my very first, 100 percent, independent album. So in some ways it’s very scary because I’m all alone. There’s no one to tell me what to do, what direction I should go, what I should sing about, represent, so I have complete freedom. But mostly, it’s just exciting that I don’t have anyone to answer to and that I can make music that’s purely me and it’s not dictated or influenced in any way by any record company. I will admit that even when I was with the labels I was very stubborn so I was true to myself as an artiste! I’m going to have to learn how to package it, market it, all on my own. It’s really doable. It just comes down to having great songs that resonate with the world. That’s what I’m trying to come up with – a body of music that I’m really proud of.

Hi Digbyholics!

As many of you are aware, for the past several weeks, Marié’s Twitter account has been suspended because someone has hacked into it.  Here’s an update on the situation from Marié herself.

Marié Digby via her Facebook page:

“Update on my twitter account: Still no luck. I’ve written them many times over the last 2 weeks and haven’t heard back once. I’ve retrieved my gmail thankfully =) But I might need you guys to help me with my twitter. I never thought it’d be suspended without reason for this long. Please ask @twitter to let me have my page back! In the meantime, I will also set up a temporary new twitter account. Thank you guys and sorry I haven’t been able to get it back.. promise i’m doing all that I can =)”

With that said, let’s band together and help her get her account back.  In addition to tweeting @twitter, also tweet @support.

There’s also a petition going around and whatever we can do to help get Twitter to notice the situation will help.  Please go and sign the petition! The link is below.

Marié’s twitter account is still suspended, but she currently made a temporary Twitter username over at @MarieDigbyMusic.  Please go follow her for updates while her main account is pending to be resolved.

Hi! Thank you to everyone who attended Marié’s Promo Tour in Robinsons Mall! Our Digbyholics from the PH Chapter helped out with the meet and greet and cd signing for the last 2 days of the mall shows in Pampanga and Cavite, if you wanted to see the photos it is posted on our Official Facebook Page I think we should do this regularly in her mall shows if some of us will be attending right?

Anyway, Marié was recently invited as a performer in Kitchen Musical Gala Night and she performed one of the songs used in the series, Nobody by the Wonder Girls in english of course. Lol Thought of sharing to everybody as well. Enjoy!
