Hi Digbyholics! Last night, Marié was one of the 30 bands who performed at Jam for Japan Concert for the benefit of the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. It was a very short acoustic set because she only had two songs to perform but in my opinion, it was one of the most emotional shows she ever did. As you all know, Marié and her parents were in Japan when the 8.9 magnitude earthquake happened. Thankfully, they were safe because they were in Tokyo but she just cant help but burst into tears in between of Say It Again and Umbrella when she was talking about the disaster while slideshows of the aftermath was shown. Marié has a good heart and will do everything just to help Japan and we were there to support with her all the way. Thank you April for the video and Jude for the lovely photos!
First of all, last night’s show was a success! Digbyholics got to meet up once again and watch their favorite girl rock the stage together. It was a night full of laughs, music, new friendships, and good memories.

Hey guys! It’s been a long time since we posted, so sorry! We have all been very busy and it seems like Marié has been as well.
First! Marié is currently in Japan working on a few projects. I don’t speak Japanese but I’ve heard that Marié is saying that she is working with DJ Hasebe on some recordings.
We have already been fortunate enough to hear a little sample of their work. Here is the famous song from “The Little Mermaid” entitled “Part of Your World“.

Second! Marié has been asked to be one of the hosts of one of the largest international beauty pageants, Miss Earth 2010! This years Miss Earth will be held in Vietnam and the ceremony will start at 8:00pm local time on December 4, 2010. The event will be televised on international and local channels such as Star World, VTV (VTV1 and VTV4), ABS-CBN Philippines and other local networks from over 50 countries. Last but definitely not least Marié is going to be playing a show when she gets back home to LA. This is going to be a special show because Marié will be playing some brand new songs! Unfortunately the show has sold out but we will definitely have some Digbyholics there to grab some videos and pictures for everyone who can’t go. Please see below for the show information.

Anyway, we have exciting news! Marié will be a guest judge and will be headlining a show for Kollaboration at the Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood on August 27th, 2010, at 8:30pm, so mark your calendars!
For those of you who don’t know:
Kollaboration is an annual event and movement produced by young Asian and Pacific Islander professionals and students, volunteering their time and skills to celebrate the vast talents of their community and hopefully bring them into the mainstream.
So don’t miss out on this event that only happens once a year!
The tickets for general admission is $15 and the tickets for VIP admission is $25.
Here is the catch, if you buy the general admission tickets before August 20, 2010, the tickets are only $10, so get your tickets early!
