Marié Live @ NBC Tent in Manila (8/1/09) Updated Info!
By Jeff. Posted in Concert Listing | 8 Comments »Just got some updates from TicketNet about the show in Manila on Saturday, August 1st. The price of tickets will be 2,640 pesos (~55 USD). It will be an outdoor show with standing room only, first come first serve. If you want to be close to the stage then you will have to show up early guys! The show starts at 8:00pm, buy your tickets now by visiting your local TicketNet booth or calling 911-5555. There doesn’t seem to be a way to buy online yet, but it will probably be listed soon here.

The moment that all you Digbyholics have been waiting for…Marié has confirmed a date for a show in Manila! This will mark the first time Marié has performed in the Philippines and by the amount of fans we talk with everyday from the Philippines it is going to be a very popular show.
We just wanted to give you guys a heads up so that you can clear your schedules for that week, prepare to line up and buy tickets, get your Unfold and Second home CDs ready for Marié to sign, and anything else you need to do…because Marié is coming!
We only know the date so far and that Marié mentioned the city of Manila, when we get further details we will keep this post updated. Stay tuned!

Marié Live @ Summer Sonic 09, Japan, 08/08/09

Marié’s Japanese label Avex Trax just posted some information about her upcoming appearance at the Summer Sonic 09 music festival in Chiba. She will be performing at the Beach Stage on August 8th. Doors open @ 9:30am and according to the schedule Marié will be on stage at about 6:15 pm. Tickets to this all ages event are ¥15,000 for only 8/8, ¥39,500 for all three days. Have fun guys!

Digbyholics Live on Location! USC Show 4/24/2009
By Jaymie. Posted in Live Updates | 6 Comments »Hey guys! So as you all know by now Marié is doing a small show at USC. We have 2 Digbyholics on location giving us live updates! Before anything else she was at the show to promote the Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches(A3M) which recruits potential marrow donors so patients suffering from blood related diseases like Leukemia can find matching donors and have life-saving transplants.

9:25 pm: Marié has now arrived at the venue with her family. She says that she will be performing at around 10:30 pm.
10:30 pm: Right on schedule! Â Marié is now performing.
Any guesses on what 2 songs she’s going to play? Stick around to find out!
11:45 pm: We received updates on Marié’s set list. Â And guess what Digbyholics?! Â She sang not 2, but 3 songs! Â LOL!

1:00 am: The show is over, Ulysses checked in with us with some news!
- Marié is performing two shows at Hotel Café in May and some shows in June. We’ll update you guys with firm dates when we get them!
- At least one version of Breathing Underwater will come with a DVD including videos of in-studio recording sessions. Marié is in the process of recording them currently.
- This show will be the last time she will perform in full acoustic. At least for the BUW tour, they will probably be more produced and sound more like the CD. Is this going to be with a headset and background dancers like Britney?! I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
Ulysses took this video of Marié playing Breathing Underwater acoustically. He tells us that there is a part missing from the clip where Marié is telling the crowd about how she learned how to play this song acoustically in the parking lot just before she came into the venue!
By the way, we’re going to have to get you a better camera next time I think…lol

A couple of updates from our other on-location Digbyholic, Parker!
- Breathing Underwater Tour will be sometime in the fall. You’ll get more specifics when we do of course!
- Marié mentioned that it is taking a little longer to plan the tour because of the new sounds and styles in the Breathing Underwater album. They are in the process of trying out different things for the live performances.
Parker also took a few videos of the performance. They are in high def too!
